Welcome to my Blog!

This is entirely my friends fault. She suggested that I write a review for all the book I read.
I read a lot of books each week, I love reading and would be lost if there were no authors in the world. This blog was her idea. And before we begin, I would like to warn you that I read much more than what is posted below. However, trashy romance does not count!

So ... here is what I read in the the past week.

A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness
(book 1)

Excellent read. Witches, Vampires, Alchemy..Lots of twists and turns. Forbidden love and more. Its a grown up smart Sci-Fi book. I Really enjoyed it. Long enough to have lots of details and yet it doesn't drag on.  Plenty of history, science and technology with the hints of mystical.

Shadow of Night by Deborah Harkness
(book 2)

Another excellent book. Excellently written sequel to A Discovery of Witches.
Much more history details in this one. Twists and turns enough for anyone. Its just a good solid story that takes the twist and turns and knots of history and interweaves the past and future. I am looking forward to the final in the series.

Kiss the Dead by Laurell K. Hamilton

Love the author when i found her. Likes the story well enough. It is almost back on track for what the series was loved for. However it is kind of stilted and bland.  Normally this author is amazing. The last few in the series have really gotten off track and sex bound. The amazing twist and turns of the first part of the series is not on track anymore. I am hoping that the next one is finally back on track. It is good enough to keep me online for the next one.

Delusion in Death by J.D. Robb

This entire series is amazing and this is as excellently written as all the others in this series. Its murder and mayhem is well written chill of possibility and  makes you crave the next in the series. Recommended for men and women. Excellent series. Fast past and gripping.

Also, The cartoon guide to physics and chemistry was just for fun.  Hopefully you find this is interesting and not boring or something that drives you nuts.

And finally, next week I will be rating the stories by dragons and NOT STARS! Too many people give star rating, and I am not like most people. You will get honest reviews from me, I will not B.S. you into buying some piece of crap because everybody else likes it. If I think it not worthy of a dragon, it is my personal opinion, an opinion I've chosen to share with you.
